EGM96: The NASA GSFC and NIMA Joint Geopotential Model
We compare the projected error by degree for recent combination models,
including JGM-2, JGM3, and EGM96 through degree 70.
The formal coefficient errors indicate a factor of two to three improvement
over earlier models.
